We are excited to offer two courses this year in Choreography.
Open to serious students of dance only.
Learn how to use the skills you have developed by orchestrating your own programs. We study several different style approaches, both individual and group, and give you the opportunity to develop a dance to be performed in a special performance by you in December. The Spring Recital will be choreographed by you working with the individual classes. Therefore if your area of expertise is in ballet, you will work with the ballet class, etc. We will choose applicants so that each style of dance is covered. We limit the class to 10 students only.
This is a 2 semester course with class sessions in learning how to choreograph in the fall, and working with other students in the spring. The fall course emphasis is on your own individuality. The Spring session is in teaching others and working with groups to refine your skill.
