"My Studio of Dance"
is located on the northern edge of the Mall between Bleeker and Darcy Streets. There is plenty of parking available but do not use the handicapped parking unless you qualify.
Fixed mounted Ballet barres on two walls mounted at the appropriate heights. Your child will be accommodated easily no matter how tall. There are also very small portable barres used for the Mom & Me and Combo I classes.
The speakers are all wall mounted, thus giving the dancers the full use of the floor safely.
"My Studio of Dance"
is equipped with floating, sprung sub-flooring covered with "Marley" surfaces. These specialized floors provide the means to absorb impact thus reducing the possibilities of injury. There is one large main practice room with 3 smaller rooms marked B, C, D. There are desks and chairs in Classroom D, and the dancers may be utilizing this room sometimes.
"My Studio of Dance"
has 7 foot mirrors installed in the practice rooms, wall to wall on one side, to aid the dancer in seeing her/his progress. This is one of the best learning tools providing instant reinforcement for your dancer. The mirrors are one way allowing the viewing process from the waiting room which has been added for your convenience.
Office faces a comfortable waiting area for parents. Soda machine and water are available for your convenience. The main dance classroom is visible through the one-way windows. On the other side is mirror. We ask that parents make judicious use of the viewing area, the dancers need to feel their privacy is respected. Your child will be waiting either here or in Classroom C after classes. We prefer they not wait outside.
